Happy 2010!!!

I've not been writing much lately due to lack of time,lack of
inspiration etc...
Anyway,happy new year to each of you!I sincerely wish that this
year will bring you lots of joy and love~

I just had a wonderful holiday with my dear friends and now I
feel pretty lonely at home without them.It's just difficult to
take up the books and study.Anyway,it's student's life.I like
my life and I feel very lucky to come here to study.I think it's
the first time that I feel so grateful to the government for the
scholarship.Thanks papa and mama for letting me go away so far
from home =)

The holiday started with a heavy snow all over France as well as
Europe.I liked the snow in Toulouse.Too bad it didn't stay long.

I went to watch Avatar and I really loved it.Then, I left to Nancy.
It took me nine hours to go there from Toulouse.I tried to sleep
and read book.Finally I reached there with a warm welcome from my
dear Shoba.I was so happy to meet her after two months.We talked
till late at night.We've exchanged our Christmas presents as well.
I gave her one of my love thing:Spinning Candle Holder.I've seen
this in one friend's place.Luckily,she loved the present;p
I just love her apartment very much!!! ^_^

On Christmas day,we went to Strasbourg and met lots of friends:
Anuar,Amir,Hariri and Baby.It's great to spend time with the guys.
Being the capital of Christmas,the decorations were not disappointing
at all.The surprise of the day was we had to pass by Metz to go
back to Nancy.Shoba said it's a sign for me.haha ;p
We reached Shoba's place and she cooked us Christmas dinner.Yummy!

The next morning,we left to Paris in order to take the flight to
our holiday destination,Istanbul.We met up with two other girls,
Mariani and Rafizah.The flight was delayed but we managed to board
it.There it started,our holiday in Istanbul!
The first day was nice.We explored things and people have greeted
us in Malay.It seems that lots of Malaysians go there for holiday.
We went to watch a traditional turkish dance:Dwirling Dance.The
dancers just kept spinning on their feet during the whole performance.
Anyway,the music was nice.

On the second day,we visited the Blue Mosque.I remember we
studied this at school last time.The mosque is called like that
because of the blue tiles from a city,Iznik.In the afternoon,we
went for a boat trip with a super guide,Medet.We've met him at
Hagia Sofia and he suggested us the Bosphorous trip.We went well
with him and he offered us to be our special guide for the rest
of our holiday.After discussing it among ourselves,we decided to
give it a try and trust him.It's not easy to have confidence in
a stranger like that.
Nevertheless,things went extremely well and we had fun together.
Shoba called him serial killer and he called Mariani his sister.
I love this trip a lot because we're guided.He told us the history
of Istanbul in such a lively way that we listened to it attentively.
Well,we weren't paying attention all the time.We're busy taking
photos for example.This made the visit to palace and museum more
meaningful because we knew what were were visiting.It was very nice
of him to bring us to Ortakoy for a drink the last night we were
there.He talked a lot about his point of view and I guess we just
know got to know him.It was sad to leave the next morning.We're so
quiet in the taxi on the way to airport.In some way,we're saying
goodbye to Istanbul.

On 31st,we reached Paris and we spent it with Jenifer.We had dinner
and we went to Champs Elysées.It was crowded and people were with
their wines.It's the french way of celebrating new year.We got to
see Eiffel Tower at night too.It's true that there isn't anything
special about it when we look at it for don't-know-how-many-times
but I just love to watch it at night;p

The holiday has come to an end.I'm really not ready for the class
tomorrow but I'll try to do my best!

My first randonnée(snow hiking)!

My stage finished on 13 February and I got a surprise that day.
dang dang dang...I got my first salary in France.hehe...
People might think that it's normal to be paid but the company
had said clearly that they wouldnt pay me.Thanks ya^ ^
Another thing was I felt a bit sad to leave there after six
weeks.My colleagues came and said goodbye to me.I was touched.
However,the minute I came out from the company,I felt relaxed
and I treated goh lunch.haha...I rarely treat people de...
I stayed in Lyon to celebrate Valentine Day with friends there
and came back to Grenoble sunday night.My short life in Lyon
had come to an end.It was a nice one.A different style of living
that I love...Xinzhu,I miss talking to you :-)

However,I was happy to get back home in Grenoble.I stayed at
home to write my intership report.Then at last minute(again),
I decided to go for randonnée at a ski station far
away.Last year,I spent my winter holiday at a ski station in
Savoie.So,it should be nice to spend it another place...

With wei chian and joe,I really had a wonderful time even though
I was victim of snowball fight...haha...I would like to do it
again.I prefer this than ski although ski is more exciting^ ^

That's all for my weekends during internship.
Thanks to it,I travelled a lot!^ ^

Copenhagen and Malmö

I'm back to normal life.I might not get used to the rhythm of
the current life and that's why I was sick.I even skipped one
day of class.Now,I'm having sore throat.Ooo...I don't want to
be sick again...

Well,back to the intention of writing this post.On the forth
week of January,I went to Copenhagen and Malmö,a small city
of Sweden.It was the coldest winter holiday I've ever had but
it would stay as a nice memory.It was a relaxing holiday
because I didnt need to plan it.However,I sprainked my ankle
and I had a difficulty of walking around.Anyway,the cities were
nice and I found that their fashion is quite different from
here.There were people on the streets even though the temperature
was low.It was nice to see people walking around with their big
coats or jackets.

Grenoble-Paris-Prague-Vienna-Paris-Grenoble

From Orly,Paris,the holiday started..It was a bit hot in Paris.

Took a flight with shobana and jennifer.She was so excited.It
was her first board on plane.I didnt feel very well.Had a great
stomachache.Along the journey to Prague,I dint talk much.
Luckily there was shobana who accompanied jen.We were
welcomed in Prague by a friendly taxi driver.Reached hostel.
Washed up and dodo(sleep).

---Three nights in Prague
--City of cathédrales,holy monuments,bridges,rivers...

We walked a lot.We saw lots of beautiful monuments.We took
lots of photos.But the most interesting part is the encounter
with two kind czech guys.We met Frank in a Swarovski crystal's
shop.We bought some crystals from him and he was kind to give
discounts and he proposed to show us Prague.His friend,Eric came
with us too.They brought us to a nice bar where we tried a black
beer( suitable for girls)  and accompanied us back to the hostel.
It's not really good to believe strangers like them but they are
just nice.They are so funny.They dont speak good french and
english,so they kept talking between them to understand
something.Poor Jennifer,she must have suffered.
I like Prague at night,it's so so beautiful..with lights,flowers...

It's so itchy.I couldnt help myself to scratch over it..)
The first night,we dint have a good sleep because there
was a guy who snorred too loudly at 4 o'clock in the morning.
Next tiring moning,we went out walking around the center.
It's impressive.All the monuments are gathered around.
We couldnt stop from looking at right and left sides of the road.
Without any regret,we went to a concert of Mozart in a nice hall.
There were people playing instruments,people singing and
dancing ballet.It was so nice to see and listen to though we
dont really know the music.The next day,we went shopping,
drinking coffee and eating..



---One night in Paris

It has been a long time since shoba met fahmi.So I
suppose they were happy to see each other.We were
talking while preparing the dinner.At last we ate ayam
masak merah with rice at 10pm.Looking at red spots
on my body,shoba said maybe it was chicken pox and
it stressed me up.I ended up sleeping without taking a
bath.They watched Saw IV while I read my book.I
finished reading' Ensemble,c'est tout'.It's a nice book
to read.The relationship with people can be simple
sometimes.*Sigh*I really hope it's like that.

---Grenoble..for another 1.5months before going back
--It's still a nice city of mine..Il fait beau!

Like what shoba said,'lonely home is home sweet home'.
I feel lonely here but I feel comfortable till I dont feel
like moving.So at last I dint do much things today.
I familiarise myself with my house after 9 days.
So tomorrow I got to gather my energy and force to
start my normal study life..

Need to go to sleep already..eyes small small..
